Social Compliance

We define social compliance as conformance to the rules of social accountability, not only by the organization's own policies, but also those of its suppliers. At Encore International, we are committed to a standard of excellence in every aspect of our business.

In order for our suppliers to understand our expectations, we have created a vendor code of conduct. We require each of our suppliers to act in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations when manufacturing products for Encore International. At a minimum, all suppliers must meet set standards in the following areas: child labor, forced labor, discrimination, freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, harassment or abuse, compensation, and environmental conditions.

Monitoring compliance is a continually evolving process in which all involved parties continually search for better ways to protect the health, safety, and fundamental rights of employees, and to enhance the environment in which they operate. This is important to all of us at Encore International, as we do not wish to do business with any manufacturer, supplier or vendor who profits from violating basic human rights and needs.
